Editorial policy
This page sets out who writes borislavik.online, how we establish what we publish, how the site is paid for, what we refuse to do, and how to get something corrected. It is written down so that you can hold us to it.
Who writes this site
Every article currently on borislavik.online was written by Anthony Smith, who is also the responsible editor and director of publication for BoscanisOne s.r.o.. There is no anonymous staff and no undisclosed contributor. Every article carries a named byline, a publication date and a last-reviewed date.
If we ever publish work by someone else, it will carry that person’s name. We do not publish under invented author names.
How we establish what we publish
- The publisher’s own material comes first. For anything about a game — its features, its pricing, its requirements, its age rating — the game publisher’s official site and in-game information are the primary source and take precedence over anything we write.
- Sources are named. Where a page depends on a specific external source, that source is listed on the page and linked, so that you can check it rather than take our word for it.
- We separate fact from judgement. A statement about how a mechanic works is checkable and we treat it as such. A statement about whether a game is enjoyable is an opinion and is written as one.
- We hedge what we cannot verify. Where a figure is a widely used community rule of thumb rather than a published specification, we say so in the text rather than presenting it as official.
- We do not reproduce volatile figures. System requirements, prices and player counts change constantly. Rather than publish a number that will quietly become false, we point you at the source that is kept current.
How this site is funded
Entirely by affiliate advertising. When a reader follows a link marked partner link and registers with the advertiser, BoscanisOne s.r.o. is paid a commission by that advertiser. The reader pays nothing extra and receives exactly the same terms as someone who went to the advertiser directly.
We take no payment for a favourable review, we accept no paid placement inside editorial text, and we run no display advertising networks. We have no sponsored articles. Every commercial link is labelled visibly and carries the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute, and every page that contains one carries a disclosure at the top of the page and again above the article body.
Advertiser independence
No advertiser sees an article before publication, approves an article, or has any right to require a change to one. Advertisers are not shown drafts and cannot veto criticism. Where we think a product has a genuine drawback — randomised paid containers, for instance, or a grind designed to be shortened with money — we say so on the same page that carries the commercial link.
If we ever cannot write honestly about something while carrying its advertising, we will drop the advertising rather than soften the article.
What we refuse to do
- No invented testimonials. We publish no “reader stories”, no reader-submitted experiences and no quotations from people who do not exist. If a page ever carries a testimonial, it will be attributable and real.
- No invented ratings. We publish no star ratings, scores or “verified by” badges that are not backed by a stated method.
- No artificial urgency. No countdown timers, no “only three places left”, no fake stock counters, no expiring offers we made up.
- No guaranteed-result claims. We do not promise outcomes, winnings, rewards or progression rates. Nobody can.
- No fabricated statistics or specifications. If we do not know a number, we do not invent one and we do not round one up. We say we do not know it and point at who does.
- No disguised advertising. No commercial link appears anywhere on this site without a visible label in plain English.
- No dark patterns. No misleading button text, no fake close buttons, no interstitials designed to be clicked by accident.
Corrections
We correct errors rather than deleting the page or editing quietly.
- Write to info@borislavik.online with the page address and what you believe is wrong. A link to a source helps but is not required.
- We aim to acknowledge within five working days.
- If we agree, we correct the page and update the “last reviewed” date. Where the error was material — a wrong figure, a wrong mechanic, a wrong claim about cost — we add a dated correction note at the foot of the page saying what was wrong and what it now says.
- If we disagree, we say so and explain why. We do not simply ignore the message.

Illustrations
All diagrams on this site are original vector illustrations created for borislavik.online. We do not use product screenshots, promotional artwork or stock photography. The diagrams are schematic — they explain relationships and trade-offs — and are not scale drawings or measurements taken from any game.
Reader data
The editorial consequence of collecting nothing is that we cannot write to a metric. We have no analytics, so we do not know which headline performs better, and we write what we think is true rather than what tests well. See the privacy policy and the cookie policy.
